The salesclerk assured me that the puppies were all from “USDA Certified Breeders,” USDA standards under the Animal Welfare Act are bare minimum survival standards, not optimal standards of care. Please adopt, don’t shop. There are so many puppies and dogs at shelters, all of whom have their shots, are spayed/neutered, are significantly cheaper, and just need homes good homes.
